Build priority around marked access

0:00–~14:00; especially level 2/3 windows, each crash, and the first objective setups from 60–90 seconds before spawn

Your early goal is to secure farm and make Q the trigger for pressure, not to spend mana on random trades. If you can push safely, crash before recalling or moving so the enemy must collect the wave. When Q marks a champion or a reachable minion and W is ready, you have a clearer short all-in window; if the enemy wave is larger, your health is low, or the jungler is unseen while you are pushed, hold E and take the safe CS. After a successful crash, reset your mana and health before contesting the next river play.

Lane

Trade through Moonlight, not through hope

If the first waves let you reach level 2 or 3 with a push advantage, use Q to pressure last hits and reserve W for the enemy’s answer rather than spending every spell on the wave. If Q lands on a champion or useful minion and an all-in is realistic, E through the Moonlight mark; if the wave is large against you or the enemy jungler is unseen, take the farm window and avoid an extended entry.

With Diana

• If Diana is your mid laner, crash the wave before asking her to move; a visible fight near river is easier to join than a speculative call through fog. When she lands Q, keep the marked target in range and follow the E entry instead of starting a separate fight.
• If you provide hard crowd control or a frontline position, hold it until Diana’s marked route is clear. When she enters with W active and enemies are grouped, add your control after her arrival so Moonfall can convert the clump rather than leaving her alone.
• If Diana is ahead, give her the side-wave time that creates a safe flank while the rest of the team holds a non-forced 4v4. If she is behind, protect her route to farm and let her use R as counter-engage; do not require her to start a fight through full enemy vision.
• If the team is setting up an objective, help crash mid and establish vision 60–90 seconds beforehand. Diana wants enemies to walk into a marked, reachable target; a clean approach and a nearby ally make that threat more reliable than a last-second pit call.
• If Diana has already used E to enter, direct follow-up damage toward the same target or the enemies pulled by R. Splitting damage across the map wastes the brief window in which her close-range kit is most difficult to answer.
• If your composition is behind, treat Diana as a pick or counter-engage axis rather than demanding a blind 5v5. Hold a safe wave, clear the approach, and let her punish the first enemy who crosses too far.
