Farm until the map gives you a fear

Opening clear through the first objective setup; exact gank timing depends on lane position, escape tools, and priority

Build a reliable first clear unless a lane presents a concrete early opening: the enemy is extended, an escape tool is unavailable, or your laner is crashing a wave. Route toward the side where you can finish near useful priority, then gank only if the angle is real. Use effigies on river or jungle approach points before crossing. If ahead, protect the camp cycle while repeating prepared ganks; if behind, prioritize safe experience and resources and avoid blind river fights. Transition when the first objective or lane setup supplies a visible reason to move.

Choose the route that buys a fear angle

If your lanes lack early setup, the enemy jungler is favored in the first river contest, or your champion needs levels, then use a conditioned full-clear direction toward the side where your first useful play can occur. If an enemy lane is extended and your fear or silence has a clear angle after the first camps, switch to that gank; otherwise preserve the camp cycle and reach the next map window with resources.

With Fiddlesticks

• If Fiddlesticks is your jungler, create time for setup rather than starting a visible fight as he approaches. Push the nearby wave before an objective, then help sweep entrances so his effigy and Crowstorm angle remain credible. When he begins Crowstorm from fog, follow the landing and hold enemies in the area instead of chasing a different target.
• If you are a laner near his path and the enemy is extended, preserve crowd control until Fiddlesticks is close enough to layer Terrify or Reap. A wave crash or lost escape tool is a better signal than a hopeful walk-by. If the gank fails, let him return to camps instead of demanding a second attempt; the next prepared window is more valuable than repeating a revealed route.
• If your team is ahead, place the next side wave and objective on the same half of the map as Fiddlesticks' setup. He can threaten a dark entrance while you hold the visible route, forcing the enemy to choose between checking fog and conceding space. If they see him early, convert to the safer wave, camp, tower, or objective they have left uncovered.
• If your team is behind, act as visible pressure only when you have an exit and Fiddlesticks can arrive unseen. Do not walk into a losing fight merely because Crowstorm is available; wait for an enemy overstep, protect his entry route, and use the resulting retreat to secure a wave or uncontested resource.
