Earn access through wave control

0:00–14:00; especially the first two waves, each level spike, and every crash-before-recall window

From spawn through the first recall, prioritize the shared-lane level race, safe CS, and a wave that gives Samira room to approach. If your duo can push the first two waves, threaten level 2 without walking into the enemy wave; if the opponents control the push, preserve health and take XP rather than forcing melee-range trades. Use immobilizing support control as the cleanest access window, then vary attacks and abilities to build fight momentum. Crash before recalling; a failed crash or an exposed Wild Rush leaves Samira vulnerable to the next gank and costs the marksman economy she needs.

Lane

Choose the fight shape before you trade

If the first two waves give your duo the push and the enemy bot lane cannot contest your level-2 approach, then use the priority to build a controlled crash rather than forcing a fight for its own sake. Samira's melee-range bonus and dash routes are strongest when the wave lets her advance safely. If the opposing duo reaches level 2 first, give up exposed last hits and preserve health until the wave returns toward you. After a successful crash, recall or move only while the enemy is occupied under turret; a roam from an uncrashed wave trades Samira's economy for little certainty.

With Samira

• Samira wants allies to make the first safe opening, not to demand that she face-check. If you have immobilizing control, show the threat before Samira dashes so she can follow with varied hits and build fight momentum. If the enemy wave is large or your team is late, hold the spell and let her farm; a forced entry without numbers turns her unique access into a liability.
• Peel for Samira's route after she enters. If she has Wild Rush available, avoid consuming the only nearby target before she can use it, and if she secures a kill, help her identify the next safe target instead of chasing separate directions. When the fight becomes unfavorable, create space toward your team so her exit is more valuable than one extra hit.
• Around dragon, Baron, or a tower, prepare the approach in the coaching setup window of roughly 60–90 seconds: crash the nearest side wave, recall together, and clear the entry line. Samira is more threatening when the enemy must walk into allied control and she has mana for the sequence. If she is behind, let her take safe farm and use your control to protect the comeback fight rather than forcing a dive to compensate for lost gold.
• In a front-to-back fight, keep enemy divers away from Samira until their key control is spent, while leaving her a path toward the nearest safe target. If she is already building momentum on a frontline target, do not demand a backline switch; help her keep damage uptime and convert a takedown into the next structure or objective. A clean conversion is more valuable than a long chase.
