Game plan · Support
Crash, sequence Stage Presence, and convert control
Plan overview
Lane for a crash, not for random spell volume: protect the ADC, track the third basic spell, and trade when the wave, ally position, and enemy cooldowns support it. After a crash, recall together or move only toward a visible play. Around each objective, arrive 60–90 seconds early to sweep, ward, and hold Beat Drop or Encore for the approach. When ahead, use priority to create picks and siege rather than chase; when behind, preserve waves and teammates, trade away a bad contest, and wait for a caught target. In late fights, stay near the carry, layer Surround Sound reactively, and spend your burst where it can become a tower, Baron, Elder, or reset in tempo.
Plan by phase
Earn priority before spending it
0:00–~14:00; especially the level-2 race and 60–90 seconds before dragon at 5:00 or grubs at 8:00.
In lane, secure support income and protect the ADC while shaping a wave that gives you a real action window. If you can crash safely, use the reset to recall or move toward river; if the wave is coming into you, prioritize spacing and peel instead of forcing poke. Track Stage Presence before trading: a third basic spell can double the next cast, while casting near allies prepares a stronger ranged basic attack. Against an unseen jungler, a pushed lane is a reason to reduce your forward posture, not a reason to gamble for damage.
Game situations
Lane
Make the wave create your spell window
If your wave is pushing and the enemy bot lane must last-hit under tower, use Beat Drop as a threat rather than throwing it on cooldown: hold the line until they step into its path, then follow with High Note if the trade is short and your ADC can hit safely. If your wave is pushing but the enemy jungler is unseen, crash first and stop standing beyond the wave without information.
With Seraphine
If Seraphine is your support, create a clear front line or threat angle before she casts: an ally who holds the enemy in a corridor gives Beat Drop and Encore reliable follow-up. Do not begin an all-in while she is still returning from base or catching a wave; her burst is much more useful when she arrives with mana and her spell cycle available.
If you are the ADC, sync your recall with her after the wave crashes when possible. When she has Stage Presence prepared and is casting near you, step forward only for a short trade you can finish; when her key spell has been spent, use the resulting cooldown window to last-hit safely rather than assuming she can protect an extended fight.
If you are the jungler, gank after Seraphine's wave has reached a stable position or after the enemy commits to last-hit. A visible approach plus Beat Drop gives her a follow-up route; a blind dive without her Encore or Surround Sound turns her into a fragile backliner. Around objectives, help her reach the entrance early so her control defines the approach.
If you are the frontline, stand between Seraphine and the first enemy diver and make the enemy choose between entering her spell range or giving up space. Once she lands control, keep the target in reach for her damage; if the first engage fails, peel back toward her carry instead of chasing beyond her defensive range.
If Seraphine is ahead, play around her controlled setup and convert every caught target into a structure, wave, or objective. If she is behind, give her safe access to experience and farm-adjacent income, then use her shield, haste, and area control to disengage until the enemy offers a numbers mistake.
Identity, strengths and limits
Build the spell cycle, then make the fight move
SUPPORT · BURST MAGE / ENCHANTER
Seraphine support is a burst mage who turns spell cycles into area threat, then amplifies nearby allies through shields, haste, healing conditions, and follow-up range. Her defining economy is Stage Presence: every third basic spell casts twice, while spells near allies empower her next basic attack with bonus magic damage and range. She wins by controlling a choke or objective entrance, landing layered damage and movement impairment, then keeping her carry in the fight. She is not a front-line engager, a solo duelist, or a champion who should spend every defensive spell for incidental poke; her value depends on spell order, ally proximity, and choosing a window with follow-up.
Strengths
Area damage and movement control that punish grouped approaches.
Surround Sound can combine shield, haste, and conditional healing.
Encore can extend through champion hits and reshape objective entrances.
Limits and risks
Forcing a roam before the wave crashes, leaving the ADC to lose a wave or plates.
Spending Surround Sound on minor poke when an engage is likely during its long cooldown.
Using the third-spell window or Encore before allies are close enough to convert the hit.
Standing forward after pushing while the enemy jungler is unseen.
Starting a 5v5 when your carry is absent or the win condition cannot follow.
One idea for your next game
For the next game, count your third basic spell and treat Stage Presence as a planned timing, not a passive detail. Before each wave or objective setup, decide whether the double cast should create damage and movement control or whether Surround Sound must answer an engage. Crash the wave before leaving lane, then arrive with that spell cycle ready; if the fight is not guaranteed, preserve the cycle and keep the team healthy.
Born in Piltover to Zaunite parents, Seraphine can hear the souls of others—the world sings to her, and she sings back. Though these sounds overwhelmed her in her youth, she now draws on them for inspiration, turning the chaos into a symphony. She performs for the sister cities to remind their citizens that they're not alone, that they're stronger together, and that, in her eyes, their potential is limitless.
