0:00–~14:00; strongest windows are your level advantage, a crashed wave, or an enemy engage committed into your carry

Play for a stable level-2 race and short trades around the wave. If your duo gets push priority, threaten Tongue Lash and attacks when the enemy walks for CS, building passive stacks without spending Abyssal Dive on a low-value exchange. If you are pushed, use the wave and minions as cover, preserve health for a counter-engage, and avoid standing in range long enough to give the enemy a clean all-in. Crash before a recall or roam; leave only when the wave has paid for your movement.

Trade around stacks and wave strength

If the first two waves let your duo reach level 2 first, then use the level advantage to pressure Tahm before he can build three passive stacks; if the enemy reaches level 2 first or your wave is smaller, give up the forward trade and wait until their engage tools or wave position create a safer window.

With Tahm Kench

• If Tahm Kench is your support, treat his three-stack mark as a threat window rather than a command to force immediately. Let him work toward stacks when the enemy approaches CS, then follow Tongue Lash or a stun with your damage if the target is isolated. If the enemy engages first, stay close enough for him to protect you; scattering removes the value of his Warden pattern.
• If Tahm walks toward river after a crashed wave, move with him only when the fight or objective is visible and nearby. His durability helps him lead a safe vision line, but he still needs an ally within follow-up range. Around a dragon or Baron setup, help him sweep and ward 60–90 seconds before spawn instead of asking him to face-check alone.
• If Tahm is ahead, let him occupy the enemy's attention while you take the safe target or structure he creates access to. If he is behind, make his Devour protection the win condition: keep the strongest damage dealer near him, avoid starting a fight while that ally is absent, and convert a successful save into waves, towers, or an objective rather than a chase.
