Farm to vanish, then make every reveal pay

Plan overview

Build the game around a deliberate transition: early farming creates the level and economy for Demon Shade; after level 6, Camouflage turns route choice into assassination pressure; late game, picks and threat create objective control. Clear when lanes do not offer a clean angle, gank when Allure has time to arm against an exposed target, and invade only with enemy-position information, lane priority, and a clear exit. When ahead, deny camps and side-lane safety, then convert each kill or forced recall into a tower or objective. When behind, use Demon Shade to find selective picks, but prioritize respawning camps, safe waves, and cross-map trades over blind contests. Evelynn wins through uncertainty and exits, not repeated front-line combat.

Farm toward the camouflage breakpoint

0:00–level 6, with the first clear and the 2:55 Scuttler as decision points

Your first job is to reach the next level and economy breakpoint without donating a river fight. Use a full clear when lanes lack setup or the enemy can contest; choose a three-camp gank only when an enemy is exposed and your level-3 threat is credible. Path toward the side that can provide priority, take Scuttler only if a nearby lane can arrive, and recall when camps are down, your resources or purchase justify it, and no immediate conversion is available. If ahead, invade only with known enemy position, nearby priority, and an exit; if behind, mirror-clear and take catch-up income instead of forcing a duel.

CONDITIONS: if your lanes lack reliable setup, the enemy jungler contests early river, or your champion needs levels, then use a conditioned clear toward the side you may pressure. WINDOWS: finish near the 2:55 Scuttler or a free gank; if no clean play exists, take the next camp cycle instead of spending health and tempo on a low-probability appearance. A failed early gank delays the level-6 camouflage transition and can expose your camps.

With Evelynn

Push or stabilize the lane Evelynn wants to approach before she arrives; a wave that holds the enemy near your tower gives Allure time to matter. After level 6, when she disappears from view, hold the enemy in place with threat and be ready to follow the charm instead of demanding a visible engage.
During objective setup, help create information advantage rather than entering the pit alone. If the enemy jungler is seen on the opposite side, sweep entrances, keep nearby waves moving, and let Evelynn threaten the approach; if she finds a target, convert the pick into the objective or a structure.
Protect her reset window after a kill. If Last Caress sends her backward or she exits with low mana or health, take the wave or objective she created instead of chasing for another kill. If the enemy collapses on her entry, peel the closest threat and give her a safe route out rather than expecting her to front-line.

JUNGLE · ASSASSIN / MAGE

Evelynn is a mana-using assassin who converts patience and fog into single-target access. Early, she farms toward level 6, when Demon Shade grants Camouflage, rather than treating every lane as gankable. From concealment she uses Allure's delayed threat, then a connecting attack or spell to create charm and magic-resistance reduction; Hate Spike and Whiplash sustain the rotation, while Last Caress deals area damage, briefly makes her untargetable, and warps her backward. She is not a front-line engager, an early river stat-checker, or a champion who should reveal herself for low-value damage.

Strengths

Camouflage creates repeatable flank and pick routes after level 6.
Allure rewards patience with a delayed charm threat and magic-resistance reduction.
Last Caress combines area damage, brief untargetability, and a long backward warp.
A successful pick can become objective control before the enemy can regroup.

Limits and risks

Forcing level-3 ganks when the lane has no setup or the enemy can retreat through a full wave.
Starting an objective while the enemy jungler is alive, unseen, and able to enter with a viable secure.
Entering a grouped fight first, especially when Allure is missed or Last Caress is unavailable.
Invading without nearby lane priority, identified enemy position, or a clear exit route.
Hovering around a dead lane while respawning camps and the next conversion are being lost.

One idea for your next game

For the next game, make every first appearance earn a decision. Before leaving a camp, identify a visible condition: a pushed enemy lane, a missing escape tool, an isolated target, or an uncontested conversion. If none exists, keep clearing toward the next camp and protect health and tempo. After level 6, use Demon Shade and Allure to create the angle, not to reveal yourself for uncertain damage. Judge the appearance by its return: kill, summoner spell, camp access, objective setup, or a forced reset.

Champion lore

Within the dark seams of Runeterra, the demon Evelynn searches for her next victim. She lures in prey with the voluptuous façade of a human female, but once a person succumbs to her charms, Evelynn's true form is unleashed. She then subjects her victim to unspeakable torment, gratifying herself with their pain. To the demon, these liaisons are innocent flings. To the rest of Runeterra, they are ghoulish tales of lust gone awry and horrific reminders of the cost of wanton desire.
