0:00–14:00, especially the first two waves, each crash, and the first dragon setup 60–90 seconds before spawn

In lane, contest the level-2 race only when your duo can reach it first and the wave supports the trade. Use the threat of Bone Skewer to deny space, then crash before a recall or roam. When ahead, build a slow push or crash and move with your jungler; when behind, preserve mana, stand near your carry, and use your threat to prevent the enemy from freely engaging. Your first transition is a successful crash that creates a real movement window.

Lane

Create the wave window before fishing

If your wave is crashed and an enemy champion is visible within walking distance, then use Ghostwater Dive to approach through an angle and hold Bone Skewer for the target's escape or defensive movement. If the wave is not crashed, stay in lane: roaming then costs the wave and gives the enemy a free push. Re-enter only while the crash still buys time.

With Pyke

• If Pyke is your support and he disappears from lane after a crash, push the next move with him only when the fight or target is visible and within reach. Keep the wave state in mind: if the roam is uncertain, let him return rather than abandoning a full wave for a dark river guess.
• If Pyke lands Bone Skewer or Phantom Undertow, focus the same target during the brief catch window instead of splitting damage. If Death From Below executes, immediately take the nearest available conversion—tower, dragon, Baron setup, or crashed wave—because the reset creates time, not permission to chase forever.
• If Pyke is preparing an objective flank, help him by arriving 60–90 seconds early to sweep and hold an entrance. He needs the enemy to walk through a controlled route; a teammate who starts the pit alone or breaks formation can remove the information advantage that makes his engage reliable.
• If Pyke is behind, play near his peel range and let him threaten the enemy diver rather than demanding a miracle hook on the backline. His ability to gain extra gold from an execution still gives the team a comeback route, but only if allies are close enough to convert the reset.
